Sustainability Statement
All of us at the MARIO Framework recognize our responsibility as ethical guardians of our planet.
We are committed to minimizing the impact our organization has on the environment and supporting those who are working to improve global sustainability in all its forms (environmental, social, and economic).
Reduce Carbon Footprint
We support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement. We constantly seek to reduce our own individual carbon footprint and that of the MARIO Framework as a whole.
Limit Our Travel
We recognize that greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions represent a significant part of our environmental footprint. As a result, we actively seek to limit our travel and conduct as much business as possible online.
Conserve Resources
Online meetings
Our professional development courses are all online; MARIO consultants will only travel to schools and conferences when it is not possible to deliver at least the same high-quality provision virtually.
Digital docs
Our documentation is predominantly digital, except for some occasional conference flyers and resources which are printed on recycled paper or card.
Reduce, reuse, recycle
We encourage all employees and stakeholders to reduce waste and consumption, reuse products wherever possible, and recycle when appropriate.
Sustainability Strategy
We are committed to working with suppliers and stakeholders who share our commitment to sustainability. The MARIO Framework board oversees our overall sustainability strategy and holds us to account, ensuring we remain true to this statement and fulfill our pledge to be an ethical and sustainable organization.
